Goanna Golf Snake Ball Run – Point Walter
In 2020, Artforms was approached to design a snake themed ball run and multiple 3D wildlife sculptures for the new Goanna Golf mini golf course at Point Walter. Unfortunately, the first wave of COVID 19 put the sculptures on hold, but the ball run was essential for the park opening.
We devised an open, caged design so that the ball would be fully visible on its journey. The stainless steel snake ‘body’ twists and turns en-route before the ball emerges from the mouth of the snake. Care was taken at all stages of the design and fabrication to ensure that the ball ran smoothly and was unhindered as it descended.
