A bespoke concrete mould was created for fabrication of the globe hemispheres. The design was laid out in the mould. When welded, the hemisphere was lifted out of the mould. The two hemispheres were connected together.

A belt was created at the equator. The mount was finished with rostered edges. The 40mm plate and mount were connected to the laser-edged plinth. The globe was wrapped and dispatched in a purpose built crate.
