Rosey the Dowerin Dog
In 2020 we were asked to quote on fabrication and installation of a second dog sculpture for the Wheatbelt town of Dowerin.
Dowerin already had a dog sculpture, Rusty. They were intending to create a girlfriend for Rusty.
The Shire of Dowerin provided a stock image of a dog in the required stance and images of the original sculpture as guidance.
Artform’s 2.5m sculpture was to be fabricated from 5mm corten steel. Lighter weight material was not recommended by our team due to the need for strength and durability.

The Shire of Dowerin was provided with our quote, detailed renders, and images of our design.
The Shire chose a local engineering firm to fabricate ‘Rosey’. The resulting sculpture bears a remarkable similarity to our Artforms WA design.
