Entry Gates
Children and parents alike, step through the giant gates into a magical play area, consisting of a Flying Fox, a Hobbit Hill mound with an underground crawlspace, sedge which squirts water, giant fish traps, and plenty of places to climb, traverse and explore. There are also shady areas and barbeques for family picnics.
Flying Fox Orb

Banksia Seed Pods
Fourteen bespoke light poles constructed from anodised and powder-coated aluminium plates.
Hobbit Hill Doors
We created the four Hobbit Hill headwalls tunnel entrances in corten steel with aluminum power-coated butterfly and dragonfly decorations. The tunnel entrances included combined marine grade wood and corten laser cut entrance doors.
Squirting Sedge
Fourteen Sedge blades made from high grade stainless steel in four sizes, from 2.4 – 3.6 metres high, each with an individual curve radius. All powder coated in premium exterior Interpol colours to suit the watery feel. The sedge contains a movement activated water spray system which is timed for water efficiency.
Fish Traps
Custom designed Fish Trap climbing frames in the wet sand area. Three bespoke climbing frames made from high grade stainless steel – two small, one large.
Signage
We created the signage for the Bibra Lake Regional Playground. Information included opening and closing times and details of the creative play structures. It also displays information about the surrounding native lands and local wildlife which is endemic to the area.
Artforms WA created two types of signage: A stainless steel dedication plaque; and a full colour life-time image sign.
The full colour life-time image has a 10 year guarantee. It is attached to a stainless frame which is powder coated in exterior interpol colour which matches a colour used inside the playground.
