Overview
Following the success of our Dumbleyung entry statement, we were approached by the Shire of Dumbleyung and asked to present design options for the new Dumbleyung town entry statement.
The entry statement was to replace outdated signage reflecting the town’s association with Donald Campbell’s speed record. Seeking a change in theme, the town opted for a design featuring their logo, the Australian Shelduck.
The sign is constructed from layered corten weathering steel and stainless steel with 3D stainless steel lettering.
It consists of two boxed sections with laser cut artwork designs to the upper section.
Standing at over 3.5 metres high by 6.4 metres long, the sculpture is a highly visible welcome to the town.
Artforms WA designed, engineered, certified, fabricated, delivered and installed the artwork.
